TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE JANUARY 2026 WELLNESS RETREAT

La Rivière Vacances serves solely as the venue for this retreat. The event is organised by an independent third party, which assumes full responsibility. La Rivière Vacances accepts no liability for any aspect of the retreat.

1. Reservations and Payment

1.1

Payment instructions will be issued upon registration. Full payment per participant is due at time of registration to reserve a spot. This is non-refundable. Spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Missing the final payment deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation.

 

2. Retreat cancellation policy

If the retreat has to be cancelled for any reason, including insufficient attendance, the entire amount paid will be refunded within 7 days after the retreat's cancellation. In the unlikely event this should occur, There  is no other obligation to Participant for cancelled retreats, including, but not limited to, costs or fees related to the issuance and/or cancellation of airline tickets or other travel reservations not made by the retreat organisers.

The retreat organisers have no responsibility to provide refunds if the retreat is cancelled as a result of risk or threat of war, riot, civil strife, strike, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural disaster, fire, travel bans or other similar events beyond our control.

In the unlikely event that the designated instructors are unable to attend the workshop, the retreat organisers may, at their sole discretion, substitute a qualified instructor to teach the course or cancel the retreat. If cancelled, any amounts paid by participants will be refunded in full.

 

3. Insurance

Travel insurance is not included and retreat organisers will not be responsible to Participant for any costs except as specifically provided in this Agreement. Personal travel insurance is, therefore, strongly suggested to cover Participant’s costs such as airline tickets, loss of luggage, trip delays, medical evacuation, medical expenses, reimbursement for accommodations, workshop tuition and other retreat costs.

4. Travel

Guests must make their own way to the accommodation.

5. COVID

5.1 If a retreat is cancelled due to COVID (i.e. the two countries concerned explicitly ban travel from one country to the other), we will provide a full refund or reschedule the retreat.

Disclaimer

In no event shall any retreat organiser or Affiliates be liable to the customer for any injury, loss, or damage directly or indirectly arising from, or any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, incurred by passenger in connection with (i) the holiday purchased hereby, including without limitation, any associated transportation, activities, and accommodations, whether prior, during or after the holiday, (ii) any act, omission, neglect, accident, error or default of third parties, providing services in connection with the holiday, (iii) the alteration of the passenger’s itinerary when advisable or necessary for the safety and/or well being of the customer, (iv) any act of terrorism, war, accident, weather or any act of God.

No refund will be given if guests are no longer able to attend the retreat, regardless of the time period before the start of the holiday.

 

Acceptance on the booking form is considered acceptance of the above conditions.
